Copywriting Work For An EV Dealer

I worked with SpeedX, an electric vehicle dealership based in China that focuses on EVs from several Chinese brands. My main role was to create product pages for their inventory. This involved writing clear, informative descriptions that helped buyers understand what each car offered without relying on buzzwords or technical jargon.
Most of my time went into researching each vehicle—its specs, strengths, and use cases—and translating that into short, useful copy. SpeedX’s lineup includes a wide range of EVs, from compact city cars to larger SUVs. I had to tailor the tone and structure of each product page to fit the type of buyer likely to be interested in that model.
For example, I wrote pages for brands like BYD, NIO, XPeng, and Geely. Some had strong domestic followings but were new to international buyers. So I focused on making each description easy to follow while still covering the core features—battery range, charging time, driving feel, and safety systems. I avoided filler and instead kept the focus on how each car performs in real-world use.
I also worked with SpeedX’s content and design teams to make sure the language matched the layout. I paid attention to how the information would be read—on a phone, on a laptop, or in translation—so the structure stayed readable and direct. My goal was always to help the buyer make a confident choice, not to oversell.
In total, I wrote and edited over 100 product pages. Each one followed a clear, consistent structure, with a focus on making complex vehicles easy to understand. That work helped SpeedX build trust with new buyers while growing their online catalog across different markets.
